This is the official application homepage for The Untold Hour — a small, independently run channel that publishes short-form thriller and mystery stories, narrated, illustrated, and posted automatically to YouTube Shorts on a fixed daily schedule.

About the application "The Untold Hour"

"The Untold Hour" is the name of both this website and the Google Cloud / YouTube Data API application it belongs to. The application's sole purpose is to let its single operator publish pre-produced video stories to their own YouTube channel automatically, on a twice-daily schedule, without needing to manually sign in and upload each video by hand.

Each story is scripted with the help of an AI language model, illustrated with AI-generated imagery, and narrated by an AI voice. The operator writes the topic list, reviews the output pipeline, and maintains the channel — there is no editorial team, no third-party contributor access, and no other user of this application besides its operator.

How publishing works

This application uses the YouTube Data API v3 (specifically the youtube.upload scope) to upload finished videos directly to the operator's own YouTube channel. The API is used solely to publish this channel's own content; it is not used to access, read, or act on any other person's YouTube account or data, and no other person can authorize or use this application against their own account.
